Jordan Brand reissues the “Fear” pack, a three-shoe collection launched in 2013 honouring its “Become Legendary” ad campaign. The cult favourite Air Jordan 4 “Fear” (2024) returns for the first time since its debut, giving OG collectors flashbacks to 'the good old days' and the new comers wondering where on earth this fire colourway came from. Certainly one of the best drops to look forward this Holiday ‘24 offerings, a worthy addition to the silhouette’s 35th anniversary. Considering the AJ3 edition already dropped last year, it's likely that the AJ5 will be next to complete the trio!
This colourway features a grey nubuck base with darker shades on the upper portion, forming a gradient makeover. A light grey suede mudguard reinforces the toe to create a stunning contrast. Crisp white tones illuminate the TPU wings and lining. Signature Jumpman logos adorn the tongue and heel, while an inverted brand label decorates the interior. The sockliner features the quote: “I’m scared of what I won’t become, and you’re scared of what I could become”, based on MJ’s “Look Me in the Eyes” commercial in 2008. A White speckled midsole throws it back to the early 2010 era of hyped sneakers, embellishing the blacked-out midsole for further contrast. The visible Nike Air unit in the heel has red pillars for a pop of colour. The white and grey rubber outsole rounds out the colourway’s striking ensemble.
